A site that pairs you with a stranger for a video conversation, with a queer-specific audience instead of a general one. Omegle itself was a general random-chat site that shut down in 2023 after long-running moderation and child-safety problems; the phrase survived the product.
Omegle's founder announced its shutdown in November 2023, citing the cost of fighting misuse of the service. The lesson for anyone choosing a replacement is that unmoderated pairing at scale is the failure mode, not an unlucky side effect.
So the useful question is not "which site is most like Omegle?" but "which site fixed the thing that broke Omegle?"
TrueVibe is not anonymous roulette. You create an account, set pronouns, interests and what you are here for, and matching uses those signals rather than raw proximity. That removes most drive-by harassment before it starts.
